Malmo (14th/15th April 2012)

Gunilla, Jackie R, Rosey , Gavin and John Grieg (VH) all went to F&S Malmo for an "inspiration "Weekend. They attended classes, had an Inspiration day with over 300 other F&S leaders where they tried between them Jympa Explosion, Groove Dance, Funk, Running technique session, Body Pump....

John Grieg got together with one of the F&S Malmo Nordic Walking leaders for a session with her on how they run their sessions and Rosey tried the F&S Jogging group out on the Sunday. Bicycles were means of transport for everyone in this cycle friendly city and many miles covered by them! Lots of inspiration and good company.

Senior Dance Course (5th/6th November 2011)

Tina Reutersward gave an excellent course to 11 leaders on the 5th/6th November. Over the weekend Tina also took two masterclasses for class members which were well attended and throughly enjoyed.

Senior Dance is an hour of conditioning, balance and movement training, packaged as pure dance and the joy of movement. Disco, jazz, pop, latin, rock and swing. We let ourselves be inspired by music and dance styles. The movements are simple with no complicated choreography and it is fun with a lot of feeling and attitude.

Race For Life (3rd July 2011)

Across the UK Cancer Research UK's Race for Life brought 800,000 women together to walk, jog or run 5km and raise an amazing £60 million in sponsorship for the charity's vital, life-saving work. Friskis&Svettis Aberdeen were proud to do the warm-ups for the Race For Life in Aberdeen.

Fungle Rambler Walk (28th May 2011)

49 walkers undertook an undulating linear route of about 13 miles over the famous Fungle Mounth Road, on good paths and estate roads.
