Walk this ancient road between these two Aberdeenshire rivers over the shoulder of Culardoch (900m.) via the Bealach Dearg pass.

The Walk: a fairly strenuous trek of around 17 miles, requiring about 8 hours walking on well maintained estate roads and paths. Elevated views of Lochnagar and Ben Avon and hills further afield are the rewards..

Transport: a 33 seat bus will leave at 6.30am prompt, from Kingswells Park and Ride. Please park vehicles in the lower section near the recycling facility. The walk will commence around 8am from the old Invercauld Bridge and finish between 4pm and 5pm at the Allargue Arms, Corgarff. The cost of the bus will be £20.
